It's Only a Play Opens October 13
It’s the opening night after-party for ”The Golden Egg,” a new play on Broadway. All of the usual suspects have assembled in a New York townhouse to nervously await the reviews of the play. There’s Peter, the anxious playwright (Andy Livengood); his ‘best friend’, James (Jon Ballard); Julia, the wealthy, novice producer (Andrea McGinn); Virginia, a fading actress hoping to make a comeback (Lynda Harvey); Frank, the “Boy Wonder” director (Xan Rogers); Ira, the snarky critic (Terry Davey); and finally Gus, the “fresh off the farm” coat check guy (Michael Okas), who is dying to make it in showbiz.
